A more printer friendly and a downloadable version of this pattern are available in my ravelry store: Vintage Leaves and Trellises Afghan Square
And an interactive copy of the chart is available through Stitch Fiddle. I highly recomend this site (not sponsored) it’s just super useful for fiber art.

Cast off, weave in ends, and block.
If you have a tighter tension I would recommend using a stretchier bind off or using a larger size needle in your right hand when binding off.
Chart:
Abbreviated instructions for working with only the chart:
Work the chart 4 times per round (I per side).
CO 4 sts, divide across 2 dpn.
Work rounds 2-4, then divide across 4 dpn to make a square (3 sts per needle)
Work to round 29 then switch to circular needles while working round 30, placing a stitch marker on each corner with the odd color to mark the beginning.
Now work each corner as a yo2, knitting into the 1st yo and purling into the 2nd.
